My journey into photography began 36 years ago when I entered a local photo contest with a picture of a tiger and came in second place. A friend saw the photo and encouraged me to pursue photography professionally, a suggestion I took to heart. In 1990, I officially launched Boswell Photo and Video, driven by a passion to capture the beauty and emotion in the world around me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing over 750 weddings and countless students, which has honed my skills and deepened my love for the art of photography.

While my path has been shaped by a deep dedication to the craft, my experience as a Technical Sergeant in the Air Force has also played a crucial role in my approach. For 14 years, I served as the Base Photographer and Public Affairs/Communications specialist, where I developed a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence that continues to inform my work today. These experiences, combined with my love for creating lasting memories, have helped me build Boswell Photo and Video into a trusted name for weddings, senior portraits, and school pictures in Buffalo and the surrounding areas.
